Become a Partner with The Justice Theater Project's BLACK NATIVITY 2022 at Raleigh’s John Chavis Memorial Park! December 3 and 4, 2022

Sponsoring The Justice Theater Project’s 12th Annual Family Holiday Production is making a personal investment in the arts and a community we all share.

Why become a BLACK NATIVITY Partner?

  • You believe in the importance of the arts and culture for all ages in our community.

  • You and your business understand the value of investing in the community by supporting events that bring people together.

  • Your customers will recognize your business as a supporter of our local arts community.

  • You want to reach thousands of patrons who attend this special show through marketing opportunities.

The mission of The Justice Theater Project is to produce compelling theater experiences that create community dialogue and give voice to social concerns.

Since BLACK NATIVITY’s inception in 2011, we have touched over 27,000 people. This annual family-friendly holiday show is our gift to our community, and we are committed to continuing this tradition. In 2021 during COVID, we offered all audience members free admission to outdoor performances at the NC Museum of Art (NCMA). We surpassed previous attendance records inspiring and entertaining over 4,500 people during three performances. To keep this unique Triangle tradition free to the public and accessible for all, we need your help.

With the NCMA outdoor amphitheater under construction, we are excited to partner with the City of Raleigh at the beautiful downtown Raleigh Chavis Memorial Park in December 2022. Located on MLK Blvd, this newly renovated community center is within walking distance of downtown, Shaw University, and Saint Augustine’s University and near two well-traveled bus lines.

 Your support provides:

  • Emergency medical and hospitality tent on-site

  • Three days of security

  • Professional sound engineers

  • Costumes, lighting equipment rental, staging

  • Compensation for artists on stage and behind the scenes for their inspiring and professional work

  • And if we are fortunate, some exciting local art will be created for this beautiful outdoor space that represents the show and community!

The Justice Theater Project’s Core Values:

• Diversity, inclusion, and equity                         * Dignity, humility, and respect

• Mindfulness of mission                                    * Artistic excellence and integrity of the process

• Community engagement and collaboration
