12 angry jurors vote on the verdict

Umstead Park United Church of Christ.

8208 Brownleigh Drive, Raleigh. 27617.

Based on the Emmy Award-Winning television movie by Reginald Rose. Adapted for the stage by Sherman L. Sergel

Prejudice always obscures the truth.

Be it 1957 or 2023, it takes a courageous person to stand alone against the views of their peers. To determine reasonable doubt, facts must outweigh emotional responses. A lone voice of reason and  fairness in the face of prejudice and peer pressure makes for a gripping and timeless drama.

Twelve Angry Jurors is one of the greatest courtroom dramas of all time and is based on the playwright’s experience as a juror on a manslaughter trial.
