Get ready to ogre-achieve this summer with two weeks of fairy-tale fun!

Things are getting a little swampy at The Justice Theater Project this July and August. Join us for two weeks of adventure, creativity, and laughter as we bring Shrek Jr. to life with a full musical production featuring sixty rising 3rd through rising 9th graders.

🧅 Why you’ll want to join our happily-ever-after (with layers): 🧅

Professional Direction & Coaching: Work with experienced theater professionals who will help your child grow their skills, confidence, and stage presence—no magic potion required.

Fun & Supportive Environment: Build friendships, embrace individuality, and discover that being yourself is something worth celebrating (just ask Shrek).

No Experience Required: Whether your child is a bold Donkey-type or brand new to the stage, there’s a role for everyone in our fairy-tale world.

Flexible & Affordable: One all-inclusive camp fee covers rehearsals, materials, a pre-show pizza dinner, and 6 tickets to the final performance—because every ogre deserves an audience.

What do we expect of a JTP Camper? Review the information below to make sure your student is set up for success!

Student Expectations

Be open-minded

There are moments where some activities can seem impossible because we have never done them before. At camp, we encourage campers to try new things and remove the word “can’t” from their vocabulary. Campers are capable of so much more than they think!

Be kind and respectful

Summer camp is meant to be fun, so we are not going to bring each other down during our time together. Unkind words or actions, hateful speech, and discrimination of any kind towards other campers or staff is unacceptable.

Commit to learning

Putting on a show can be extremely fun, but it also takes great dedication and hard work. Campers will learn music, choreography, blocking, and more. It is up to them to be focused during camp and practice at home.

Know the consequences

It is important to know that violations of these Student Expectations can result in warnings, removal from activities, calls to parents, and in extreme cases, dismissal from camp.

Engage in camp activities

The way campers can have the most fun over the next two weeks is to positively and actively participate in camp activities. They will have the opportunity to engage in singing, dancing, acting, yoga, staging, and more. Although some activities may interest a camper more than others, it is vital that they do their best in every activity at camp.

Be prepared for camp

Campers should come dressed appropriately each day, meaning closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothes that they can move in. Campers should also pack a lunch with two snacks and have a water bottle with them. Campers will be given a script and it is their responsibility to bring it to camp every day. Campers should also be conscious of their personal health and hygiene throughout the duration of camp.

Uphold JTP Core Values

I understand that my words and actions should reflect the JTP core values, listed here.
