The Thanksgiving Play
by: Larissa FastHorse
A satire on the well-intentioned and accidentally ridiculous.
November 14-23, 2025
While trying to ruffle only the right feathers,
these four turkeys get roasted.
Two teachers, a street-performing yogi, and an LA actress get their gooses cooked trying to put on mindful, progressive, historically accurate Thanksgiving pageant…for elementary school students…without starting another parent petition. Chaos ensues with hilarious and powerful results, proving that good intentions are not enough—you need the right people in the room.
Special note: This production will take place at Church of the Nativity.
