“The Justice Theater Project's smart production of Lauren Gunderson's "The Taming" is a whirlwind 90 minutes of hilarious/serious theater. A Miss America pageant contestant kidnaps a liberal activist blogger and a conservative senator's aide in order to get them to help her re-write the U.S. Constitution (which will be her talent performance in the pageant) Got that?! :-)” Roy C. Dicks

In this hilarious, raucous, all-female "power-play" inspired by Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew, Katherine is a beauty pageant contestant with aspirations to revolutionize the American Government by rewriting the Constitution. All she needs to put her mad (yet brilliant) plan into place is to kidnap an ultra-conservative senator's top aid and an ultra-liberal blogger, and get them into the same room to hash it out. Well, that and a trip back in time to the Constitutional Convention...
