Summer Camp and Counselor Applications now being accepted

Applications are now being accepted for Campers and Counselors for our 2012 Performing Arts Summer Series. (PASS).

Counselor Application Deadline is March 15, 2012.

Applications are now being accepted for our 2012 Performing Arts Summer Series. (PASS).

Camps are for rising 2nd to rising 8th grade students. The cost is $210 per week, Monday through Friday.  Camp hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with before and after care available each day for $25 per student, per week.

Interested families should fill out one Interest form per child, and include a $50 nonrefundable deposit per application.  Payment in full is due by the first day of camp.  Please deduct your deposit from the total fee camp fee.

This camp does fill to capacity each year, usually by May. 

July 30 to August - 11 The Emily K Center, Chapel Hill Street, Durham. (Go to EmilyK.org to register for this camp)

The Justice Theater Project is now accepting applications for our three Performing Arts Summer Series (PASS) summer theater camps.

The Safety Club- June 11 to the 22
The Catholic Community of Saint Francis of Assisi - July 9 – 27
The Emily K Center, Durham – July 30 – August 11

This year counselor positions will be limited.

There is a one-time $50 application and processing fee for all new counselor applications. An essay is also required. Please refer to the application for specifics.

The Safety Club Camp:
6 Senior high school (grades 11 & 12) and college counselors
2 Junior counselors in 10th grade
6 Ninth grade Interns

Saint Francis of Assisi Camp :
8 Senior high school (grades 11 & 12) and college counselors
4 Junior counselors in 10th grade
9 Ninth grade Interns

The Emily K Camp:
8 Senior high school (grades 11 & 12) and college counselors
4 Junior counselors in 10th grade
8 Ninth grade Interns

NEW:
Counselors 18 years of age and older who are employed by JTP MUST complete the Safe Environment Training.  Counselors in this category not completing the training will not be allowed to work for JTP.

Saturday – February 18, 2012 2:30-4:30pm,  Founders Room Anthony Hall on the St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Campus

Saturday – April 21,  2012 12-2pm,  Founders Room Anthony Hall on the St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Campus

Please note:  We will have limited counselor positions open for our camps this summer. Applications must be post marked no later than March 15, 2012.

All counselors must be available to work the entire time the camp is in session. We are not able to accommodate part time and rotating counselor schedules.
